Why I Love Traction & EOS
You may wonder why a business attorney would be such an EOS fan. Over 20 years ago, I wanted to learn how to grow great companies. To learn from successful company leaders, I needed a way to work closely with them, so I went to law school to become a business attorney.
A successful CEO introduced me to Gino Wickman’s book, Traction. As I read it, I thought, “This is what I have been looking for all my life.” The book distilled the most basic tools for building an entrepreneurial company. It aligned with the concepts from the best business books, without the fluff. I have read hundreds of business books, and none covered so many foundational concepts in such a practical, implementable way.
We implemented EOS in our own law firm. It reduced my anxiety, brought health to our team, improved the value we deliver, and contributed to significant growth. Today, more than 1,000 companies in Minnesota use EOS, and our clients who run on it love it.
